FOREST, Va. - Shenandoah University had three men's lacrosse student-athletes earn All-ODAC honors in selections announced Thursday by the league office.

Seniors Ben Judy, Stephen LaTona and Tilghman Sanders were all recognized by the league office with Judy earning first team accolades, LaTona to the second team along with be selected as the league's Scholar-Athlete of the Year and to the All-Sportsmanship team, and Sanders named third team All-ODAC.

Judy, the all-time ODAC saves leader, is the first Shenandoah University men's lacrosse player to be named first team All-ODAC.

LaTona finishes his career as a three-time All-ODAC honoree and a two-time ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

He has also been named to the Ray Rostan Men's Lacrosse Sportsmanship Team for the past two seasons.

Sanders, who rewrote the record book this season with 19 goals and 47 assists for 66 points, grabs his first All-ODAC accolade with his third team selection. He led the league in assists this season on his way to setting new program records for both assists and points in a season.

LaTona, the all-time scoring leader at Shenandoah with 173 goals and 62 assists for 235 points, was the primary beneficiary of Sanders' ability to draw defenders. LaTona had an ODAC leading 52 goals this season along with nine assists for 61 points and was named as the ODAC Player of the Week one time.

The Ellicott City, Maryland native is set to graduate on Saturday with a 3.9 GPA as a finance major and has earned Dean's List honors in each semester of his career. Earlier this month, he was named as the Outstanding Male Student-Athlete for the Class of 2017 in a vote of athletic department personnel.

He is the second two-time ODAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award winner from SU after Danielle Burris '16, '18 D. PT from women's soccer.

Earlier today, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced that LaTona had earned Academic All-District V honors. He is now a candidate for Academic All-America.

Judy, who like LaTona has been named All-ODAC three times in his career, earns the program's first-ever first team nod after he posted 243 saves and a .565 save percentage this season as the Hornets won a program-record-tying nine games.

In his career, Judy posted 935 saves, breaking the ODAC record of 915 set in 1984.

"This a great honor for our three senior captains," head coach Tim Marshall said. "They have left their mark on our program and I couldn't be happier for them."

Shenandoah now has 10 All-ODAC honorees in five seasons of playing men's lacrosse in the league.
