McGrady won the discus throw with a 36.97 meter toss on her sixth and final attempt of the day. She bested Maggie O'Neil from host Swarthmore by 53 centimeters (20.87 inches).
In the javelin, she was fourth at 36.84 meters.
McGrady was one of six competitors for the Hornets in the penultimate meet prior to the NCAA field being selected at the end of the week.
Sophomore Shamyra Wilkerson set a school record in the 400 with a 59.74, 8th place showing.
In the 1500, Sarah Mann, Aislynn Smith and Alexandria Caljean all set new personal bests with Mann and Smith becoming the second and third women to break 5:00 in the event. Mann had a 4:58.26 to finish 41st with Smith .35 of a second behind in 43rd.
Caljean just missed the mark, coming in 46th with a 5:00.16.
On the men's side, Ansel Borhauer was tied for 10th in the 400 meters with a 50.11.
McGrady, Borhauer and Wilkerson will make one last attempt at NCAA qualifying by participating in the Great Lakes Last Chance Meet at Ohio Wesleyan on Thursday.
