Women's Golf Announces Schedule

WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach Scott Singhass announced the fall schedule for his women's program Monday morning.

Singhass, who has led the women's golf program in all three seasons of its existence, has five events scheduled for the women this fall.

After opening at the Lynn Schweizer Invitational at Denison University in Granville, Ohio on September 2 and 3, the squad hosts its own invitational September 16 and 17 at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club.

This is the second straight year that the Hornets are hosting at event at SVGC; this year's tournament is scheduled for 36 holes after playing 18 last year.

Singhass' club completes the first month of the fall season by traveling to ODAC rival Bridgewater for its invitational at Lakeview GC September 23 and 24.

In October, the squad completes the fall season with the Rossin Fall Invitational hosted by Washington & Jefferson on the 7th and 8th and the Mt. Vernon Nazarene Invitational on the 14th.

With the MVNU Invite scheduled for 36 holes, the Hornets will play 10 rounds during the fall season.

"We have made excellent progress with this program, and this fall schedule is the busiest we have had since starting in 2014," Singhass said.

"I know our ladies are excited to get started."
