CANONSBURG, Pa. – The Shenandoah University women's golf team wrapped up its penultimate event of the fall season with a fourth place finish Monday at the Peter C. Rossin Fall Invitational hosted by Washington and Jefferson.

Playing once again at Southpointe Golf Club, all four Hornets improved their scored by at least three shots Monday to shoot a collective 438.

SU improved its score by 27 strokes Monday over the par-72, 5801-yard layout.

Sophomore Katie Davis had the best round Monday, posting a 20-over-par 92 with Madison Ngo shooting 97, McKenzie Slattery 104 and Allyson Schwind 145.

Slattery had the top improvement, besting her Sunday score by 10 strokes while Davis cut nine shots off of her day one score.

Davis' two-day total of 193 was good for 10th overall in the tournament. It is her first career top 10 finish.

Malone University won the tournament with a 700 two-day total.

The women complete their fall schedule on Saturday with a 36-hole event at Mount Vernon Nazarene in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.
