McCorry, who finished with three goals, snapped the W&L run with an unassisted tally at 20:28.
This goal started a 3-0 spurt for the Hornets which brought SU to within five, 11-6, with 6:23 remaining.
"Tonight was a good experience for us," head coach Lindsey Lutz. "We realized that we can play at a higher level.
"W&L capitalized on our mistakes, which good teams do, but I thought we played well. Now we need to ride this momentum into the remaining ODAC games this season."
