WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Lindsey Lutz announced her 2018 schedule Thursday morning.
Lutz, who led her Hornets into the ODAC Tournament semi-finals for the third time in five years last spring, has eight home games as well as a two-game trip to Puerto Rico on tap for this coming spring.
The season opening game versus Hood, scheduled for 1 p.m., is also a doubleheader with the Hornet men.
The flight to Puerto Rico comes next as Lutz' club takes on DeSales and Widener in a pair of non-league games on March 4 and 6, respectively.
Those two games are also the first two in a five-game stretch in which SU takes on teams from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Hornets host Scranton on March 10 and Marywood on March 14 before traveling to Lebanon Valley on St. Patrick's Day.
"We have a tough stretch to start the season," Lutz, who is heading into her 10th season as the program's head coach.
"We are looking forward to another great year."
