BRIDGEWATER, Va. – Host Bridgewater College scored one goal in each half Wednesday to down Shenandoah University 2-1 in ODAC women's soccer action.

The one-goal victory for BC (11-2-1, 4-1 ODAC) continues a pattern of close games between the Eagles and Hornets (6-5, 2-3).

In the last 14 meetings between the two programs, SU and BC have played seven games decided by one goal and had four draws and each team is 5-5-4 in the span.

Isabella Krider had both of the goals for the hosts, scoring off of a Keri Rager assist in the 10th minute and a Bridget Fabiani feed in the 70th.

Junior Rebecca Collimore had the Hornets tally, scoring unassisted in the 66th minute.

Bridgewater outshot Shenandoah 16-10 and took four of the game's seven corner kicks.

Kasey Richitt and Charlotte Evans split the game in goal with Richitt making three saves in the second half and Evans two stops in the first.

SU returns home on Saturday for a noon ODAC contest versus Virginia Wesleyan.
