ASHLAND, Va. - Host Randolph-Macon secured its spot in the upcoming ODAC softball tournament by sweeping a doubleheader from Shenandoah Friday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets (22-10, 12-8 ODAC) rallied for a 5-3 victory in the opener before taking game two, 4-1, over SU (10-21, 8-10).

Megan Tripp (5-10) took the loss after allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks.
Tripp struck out two.
The 'Jackets scored two runs in the bottom of the first off of game two starter Lisa Mitro (3-4) to secure the sweep.
Morgan Coble led the offense with a 2 for 3 contest that included an RBI single in the fourth.
