WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University softball team completed its season Saturday by splitting an ODAC doubleheader with Emory and Henry.
Shenandoah (10-22, 8-12 ODAC) was a 9-7 winner in the nightcap after E&H (23-10, 10-10) scored three runs in the seventh to win 3-0.
Lisa Mitro (6-7) was the game two winner, allowing seven runs (six earned) on 12 hits and two walks in 6.0 innings of work.
Lindsay Corbin (2-10) was tagged with the game one loss but came back to save game two for Mitro with a scoreless seventh.
Mitro was also the story at the plate, going 3 for 4 with three RBI in her final game in an SU uniform.
Ashlyn Drake and Kimberly Brady each had two hits to back up Mitro.
Brady had two of the three hits for SU in the opener with Mitro adding the other.
