EMORY, Va. - Host Emory and Henry earned its second ODAC men's tennis victory of the season with a 7-2 victory over Shenandoah University Saturday morning.
Shenandoah (2-7, 0-5 ODAC) earned wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 3 singles, but it was not enough as the Wasps (8-4, 2-4) combined two doubles victories with five straight-set singles wins.
IN BRIEF
Darian Diaz and Bryan Harris had the doubles win for SU, taking out Grayson McCarty and Dalton Shipley 8-3 at No. 1.
In singles, Kyler Apgar was a 6-4, 7-6 (5) winner over Shipley at No. 3.
Diaz was tied 1-1 in his match at No. 1 when he was forced to retire with an injury. Diaz was a 7-5 victor in the opening set.

The men are off until hosting Virginia Wesleyan next Saturday at 2 p.m.
