WINCHESTER, Va. - As part of NCAA Diversity and Inclusion Week, Shenandoah University Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Bridget Lyons hosted a conversation on Monday with selected administrators, coaches, and student-athletes around the issues of diversity and inclusion.

Student-athletes Elijah Morton and Jocelyn Granados joined Lyons, along with assistant football coach Byron Mitchell '14 and assistant AD Jessica Porter, for an in-depth conversation around these topics.

A condensed version of that conversation is posted as part of this story. Following a return to competition, an extended cut is scheduled to be shown at halftime of contests on both the Sprint Field at Shentel Stadium videoboard and the SU Athletics webstream.

On Friday, the department will conclude Diversity and Inclusion Week with the release of its RED (Racial Equity and Diversity) Team logo.
