DANVILLE, Va. – The Shenandoah Hornets were back on the mat for the first time in the new year as they continued their conference schedule with a dual with Averett.  The Cougars got the win beating the Hornets 46-5.

Hunter Ballantine picked up the lone win for the Hornets in the 141-pound weight class with an 18-2 tech fall over Olli Karjalainen. 
 
Averett picked up two wins by major decision, four wins by tech fall, and three wins by fall to accumulate their 46 points.
