NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Shenandoah wrestling team was back on the mat for a tri-match dual with York College (Pa.) and host Hunter College. The Hornets split the dual by beating the host Hawks 47-6 before falling to the Spartans 35-15 in the nightcap of the doubleheader.
Hunter Ballantine,
Brendan Orr, and
Tyler Tarallo were the only Hornets who won both matches for the day.

Heath Burks suffered the only defeat to the Hawks, going down by fall as Hunter took a 6-5 lead after two matches.

Sean Rinebolt got the Hornets back on track with a victory by fall in the first period.

Hunter Ballantine outlasted his opponent with a 9-4 victory by decision.

Brendan Orr secured his victory by a 19-12 decision.

Tyler Tarallo won by fall, his first of two victories by fall on the day.
