Wrestling Defeated by Averett on the Road

DANVILLE, Va. - The Shenandoah University wrestling team traveled to Averett University on Thursday afternoon for an ODAC dual match, falling 43-6.

Tyler-Nicholas Ritz, a transfer from Averett, picked up the only win of the day for the Hornets (3-3, 0-2 ODAC) with a fall at 174. The Cougars (11-7, 3-0) clinched the match with a tech fall at 165 after two close decisions at 149 and 157.
