This bio now serves as a historical reference. Wolstenholme was an employee of Shenandoah from August 2019-July 2023.
Former Cortland (N.Y.) State standout Erin Wolstenholme continues her role as the top assistant with the Hornets softball program.
Wolstenholme, who was a three-time NCAA Division III softball tournament participant at Cortland, came to SU in August, 2019 after serving for three seasons as the head coach at Wells College in Aurora, New York.
She was hired in December, 2016, to lead the re-start of the Wells program and led the Express to nine wins in their first season of varsity play. Eight of those victories came versus NEAC opponents.
A 2015 Cortland grad, Wolstenholme also helped the Red Dragons to three SUNYAC championships during her career and was named named All-SUNYAC three times.
She completed her career ranked in the top-10 in program history in games played, home runs, and runs batted in. She also played four years of basketball at Cortland and served as team captain in that sport.
Wolstenholme’s full-time position at Shenandoah was created through an NCAA matching grant. She is involved in all aspects of the program and has a secondary responsibility within the athletic department as an athletic communications assistant.
