Former Old Dominion standout Sheldon Wright joined the men's wrestling staff in August, 2022.
A four-year starter for the Monarchs, Wright was a two-time NCAA qualifier at 165 and 174 pounds and was nationally ranked throughout his career.
In high school, Wright won a VHSL state title in his senior year and was also a NHSCA Senior Nationals runner-up.
Following his graduation from ODU, Wright was the head coach of the Tallwood Wrestling Club from 2019 through 2021.
He is involved in all aspects of the program at Shenandoah.
