Shenandoah University

Clingerman joined the Shenandoah University Athletics Department as an assistant coach for men's lacrosse prior to the 2026 season. 

Clingerman played for the Hornets from 2019-24 and is second all-time in career points for the program with 222. During his playing career, the attacker earned All-ODAC twice and was named VaSID First Team All-State in 2020.

Prior to joining the staff in a full-time capacity, Clingerman was an assistant coach for Allegheny College for the 2025 season where the Gators finished with an 8-9 record.
