Zack MacDougall was the head men's soccer coach at Shenandoah University from January, 2019 through the end of February, 2022. This bio now exists as a historical reference.
Zack MacDougall was announced as the sixth head coach in the history of the Shenandoah University men's soccer program in January, 2019.
In his third season running the program, MacDougall led the squad to its best season since 2004 with eight victories and the seventh seed in the ODAC Tournament. The tournament qualification was the first-ever for the program in 11 seasons of ODAC play.
MacDougall came to SU after one year as the lead assistant coach at the University of Mary Washington. The Richlands, North Carolina native helped UMW to a 14-1-5 record, a Capital Athletic Conference championship and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

The UMW staff earned United Soccer Coaches South Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year honors and was a candidate for national coaching staff of the year.
Prior to his experience in Fredericksburg, MacDougall was the lead assistant at USA South power North Carolina Wesleyan for one year and the top assistant at ODAC rival Randolph College from 2012 through 2017.
At Randolph, he was part of a staff that led the WildCats to a 2013 regular season title and a championship game appearance.
MacDougall is a 2011 Randolph College graduate, was part of the 'Cats inaugural men's recruiting class and served as the program's captain in 2009 and 2010.
Following graduation, he served as a high school coach for the 2011 season.
