WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's soccer team earned its third straight victory Thursday afternoon with a 4-1 non-league victory at Bridgewater College.
Shenandoah (5-1) scored 15 minutes in on a Will Scott-to-Jesse Fullerton tally only to see BC (1-5) bring the game back to level 12 minutes later.
Akmed Mansaray then scored two consecutive for coach Rob Kulton's club, the first off of Will Greygor feed and the second from Luis Collantes.
These two goals, scored in a span of 2:47 midway through the second half, proved more than enough to secure the victory.
Goalkeeper Tommy Malinosky made three saves in the winning effort.
Shenandoah outshot the Eagles, 24-5, and won seven of the game's 11 corners.
Scott closed out the scoring with a goal in the 82nd minute off of a Guy Auguste assist.
Mansaray's goals were his fifth and sixth of the season.
