ASHLAND, Va. - The women's volleyball team also finished its regular season on a losing note; the Hornets fell 3-1 (13-30, 31-29, 16-30, 29-31) to Randolph Macon College Tuesday evening. 

SU (10-21) got 11 kills from sophomore Hannah Williams (Salem, Va./Glenvar), but saw the host Yellow Jackets take the match with three close victories. 

Senior Carly Higbee (Catlett, Va./Liberty) had a match high 19 digs to lead the defensive effort.

The Hornets are now set for Dixie Tournament action. SU will enter this weekend's tournament as the No. 5 seed and play fourth seeded Methodist in the first round on Friday at 1:30. The winner of that match takes on the winner of No. 1 CNU vs No. 8 Chowan in a noon semi-final on Saturday.
