WINCHESTER, Va. - The SU men's soccer team got Head Coach Rob Kulton his 100th career men's soccer victory Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 USA South triumph over Averett University.

SU (8-5-1, 5-2) got one goal in each half to secure its school record tying fifth conference victory and allow Kulton to crack the 100 win plateau in the process.

Kulton becomes just the second SU coach with 100 Shenandoah victories; women's basketball coach Kathy Orsini is the other. Lois Bowers has 100 wins in both women's lacrosse and field hockey and Kevin Anderson sports over 100 baseball wins, but neither has 100 wins at Shenandoah.

Saturday's contest was halted with 7:37 left when a fight broke out along the near sideline. After a brief discussion, two red cards on each team were issued and the game was halted. All four players thrown out must sit for their team's next regularly scheduled game.
