WINCHESTER, Va. - Methodist College used a quick start and then kept up strong pressure Saturday afternoon to fuel a 9-0 USA South women's soccer victory over host Shenandoah.

Methodist (11-5-1, 6-1) scored just seven minutes into the contest and then tacked on six more goals before the intermission to cruise to the most lopsided victory ever between the two schools.

Kela Kimi, who scored what proved to be the game winner, led all scorers with three goals while Beth Grey and Ashley Sloan had two goals each.

The Lady Monarchs outshot SU (7-6-1, 2-4-1) 17-0 for the game. Hornets keepers Karen Hild (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) and Megan Ross (Harrisburg, Pa./Upper Dauphin) combined for three saves.
