GREENSBORO, N.C. - No. 7 in the South Region Greensboro wasted little time in winning its second USA South Conference women's soccer match Sunday afternoon as the Lady Pride scored three goals in the first seven minutes of the contest to help fuel a 7-0 victory over visiting Shenandoah.

Greensboro (5-1-2, 2-0) tallied three times in the first 6:25 and once more in the 20th minute to take a commanding early lead. GC did not relent after the break; they score two more times in the first 15 minutes of the second half to erase any thoughts of a Shenandoah (4-4, 0-2) comeback.

Stephanie Keough had two goals for the Lady Pride while Amanda McGlaughlin added a goal and two assists. GC outshot the Hornets 27-2 for the contest.

SU keeper Megan Ross (Harrisburg, Pa./Upper Dauphin) had seven saves in the losing effort.

Shenandoah is off until hosting Averett in another USA South match on Saturday afternoon.
