WINCHESTER, Va. - Eastern Mennonite University used two goals in just over two minutes early in the second half to propel themselves to a 3-1 non-conference men's soccer victory over host Shenandoah Wednesday afternoon.

After SU (0-1) tied the game at 1-1 in the 47th minute on an unassisted goal by Stefan Hasson (Herndon, Va./Oakton), the Royals (2-0-1) struck right back with goals in the 51st and 53rd minutes to take the victory.

Nathan Mishler tallied what proved to be the game winner when he converted on a Clayton Suyham cross from right in front and then Darren Stauffer added an insurance goal just over two minutes later. Suyham, who opened game scoring with an unassisted goal in the 31st minute, also assisted on Stauffer's tally.
