STAUNTON, Va. - Mary Baldwin College took advantage of a poor shooting night by visiting Shenandoah University to outlast the Hornets 81-74 in non-conference women's basketball action Thursday night.

Mary Baldwin (1-4) erased a two-point lead by Shenandoah (1-3) to win its second consecutive contest over the Hornets. SU got a career high 32 points from freshman Netagia Foreman (Winchester, Va./Sherando), but it was not enough as MBC placed four players in double figure scoring.

Foreman was joined in double figures by sophomore Alicia Sanders (Wardensville, W. Va./East Hardy) with 16 and freshman Spice Suddarth (Waynesboro, Va./Waynesboro) with 13.

The Squirrels also outrebounded Shenandoah 48-35 despite a 13 boards by sophomore Cassie Womack (Alexandria, Va./Hayfield).
