ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - An 11-0 lead with 13 minutes remaining in the first half was just a sign of the domination to come as Shenandoah University completed a season sweep of N.C. Wesleyan, 51-35, Saturday afternoon on the Lady Bishops home floor.

The Hornets (7-11 overall, 5-5 USA South) held their opposition's shooting percentage to 22.4 for the game, including a 19-percent (4-21) showing in the first half. The 35 points amassed by NCWC (5-12, 2-9) was the lowest point total by a USA South/Dixie team against Shenandoah in the Orsini era.

Freshman Cassie Womack (Alexandria, Va./Hayfield) led all scorers with 11 points and was the lone player in the contest to reach double figures in any major statistical category.

The Hornets were nearly untouchable by shooting 63.6-percent in the first half (14-22) to double-up the Lady Bishops 30-15 at the intermission.
