ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - North Carolina Wesleyan College extracted a measure of revenge Friday night with its 3-0 (30-23, 30-15, 30-19) USA South Conference volleyball victory over visiting Shenandoah.

SU (7-6 overall, 3-2 USA South) ended the 2003 NC Wesleyan (7-6, 1-4) season with a win in the USA South Conference Tournament quarterfinals and the Hornets won the final three matches of the year between the two teams.

Freshmen Michelle Chandler (St. Charles, Mo./St. Charles West) and Jennifer Thompson (Forest, Va./Jefferson Forest) led the Hornets with six kills each; Chandler was also tops in assists with seven.

Senior Hannah Williams (Salem, Va./Glenvar) and freshman Christina Greene (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) led the defense with seven digs each.
