NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Christopher Newport remained unbeaten in USA South play with a 3-0 victory over visiting Shenandoah University Wednesday night at the Freeman Center.

CNU improves to 13-3 overall and 6-0 with the 30-16, 30-14, 30-21 victory. Shenandoah falls to 8-8 overall and 3-4 in the USA South. 

Freshman Christina Greene (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) led the Hornets with seven kills and 10 digs while classmates Jenna Warrenfeltz (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg), Jennifer Thompson (Forest, Va./Jefferson Forest), Michelle Chandler (St. Charles, Mo./St. Charles West) added 13, 12 and eight digs, respectively. Chandler also had seven assists and four kills.

Shenandoah travels to Pitt-Greensburg Saturday for a quad-match.
