WINCHESTER, Va. - Christopher Newport University captured the unofficial USA South Conference field hockey crown Tuesday afternoon with a 7-0 victory over host Shenandoah.
CNU (8-3) won the contest between the only two USA South Conference schools that sponsor field hockey on the strength of three goals in the first 11:05 of the contest.
