Hockey Shut Out in Finale

FROSTBURG, Md. - Shenandoah University completed its 2005 field hockey season Thursday afternoon with a 3-0 loss at Frostburg State University.

Frostburg (9-6) scored goals in the 28th, 33rd and 42nd minutes to dispatch the Hornets (2-8).

Shenandoah got a third best in school history 16 saves from goalkeeper Wendy Taylor, but was only able to muster one shot on goal (by Courtney Beard) during the contest.

FSU held a 32-1 advantage in shots and also had 19 of the game's 22 penalty corners.
