WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University started its final weekend of USA South Conference volleyball regular season play with a 3-1 victory over NC Wesleyan Friday night.
The Hornets (8-19, 2-10 USA South) lifted themselves out of a seventh place tie in the league with the 30-27, 30-32, 30-28, 30-23 win over the Lady Bishops (15-15, 4-8).

Michelle Chandler had a second best in school history 28 kills to key the victory. She also was one of five SU players to register double digit digs with 14. Chandler's classmates, Â

Alex Hamlin added 28 and 16 digs, respectively. Thompson also had 15 kills.
