WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University volleyball snapped its eight match losing streak Monday night with a 3-2 non-conference victory over Hood College.
Shenandoah (5-13) had to come from behind against the Blazers (5-9) to get the victory. After winning game one, 30-22, the Hornets saw Hood win games two and three 30-28 and 32-30 to come within one of clinching the victory.
Coach Sarah Pelster's squad then roared back to win game four 30-18 before taking a 15-6 decision in the decisive fifth game.
