WASHINGTON, D.C. - Shenandoah University jumped out to an early lead Friday night in its women's basketball opener against host Catholic University, but the host Cardinals rallied for a 71-52 victory.
The win also puts Catholic (1-0) into the championship game of its own tournament on Saturday at 4:00. The Cardinals will take on Baruch, who defeated McDaniel in the night's first contest.
Shenandoah (0-1) and the Lady Terror meet in Saturday's 2:00 consolation game.
