WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's soccer team netted the equalizing goal with just 22 seconds to play in regulation Thursday afternoon to salvage a 1-1 non-league tie with Bridgewater College.

Lauren Carpinello service, tapped the ball home from the doorstep to knot the game at 1-1 and send it into overtime.
Shenandoah (0-0-1) took two of three overtime shots against BC (0-0-1), but neither team was able to get the golden goal. SU outshot the Eagles 8-5 for the game.
Bridgewater got the game's initial goal in the 70th minute when Ashley Virts blasted home a rebound of her first attempt - the two shots were the first that BC had on goal up to that point.

Lauren Elliott had one for the hosts.
