WINCHESTER, Va. - Lynchburg College used a five-goal first-half to propel its version of Hornets to a 7-1 non-league field hockey victory over host Shenandoah.
SU (1-3) got its only goal in the 55th minute on an unassisted tally by juniorÂ
Kelly Matagiese.
This made the score 6-1 in favor of the LC Hornets.

Lynchburg (1-3) outshot SU 26-3 for the game.
