BRYN MAWR, Pa. - Shenandoah University used a timely goal combined with strong goaltending to earn a 1-0 non-league women's soccer victory at Bryn Mawr Sunday afternoon.

Lauren Elliott then stepped to the forefront, making five saves to earn her third shutout of the young season.Â
The shutout also allowed Elliott to move within one shutout of Shelby Berkheimer for the all-time lead at SU. Berkheimer had 13 shutouts for the Hornets in 1997 and 1998.
Shenandoah outshot Bryn Mawr 16-15 for the game and held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks.
