NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Christopher Newport University snapped Shenandoah University's six-match volleyball winning streak with a 3-1 USA South Conference victory Wednesday night at the Freeman Center.
The Captains (14-8, 7-1 USA South) sent the Hornets (12-8, 2-6) down for the first time in two weeks with a 30-23, 28-30, 30-27, 30-14 win. The victory also gives CNU a sweep of the season series between the two schools.
