SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. - Shepherd College sandwiched a pair of first-half goals around an Shenandoah University tally to win a 2-1 women's soccer matchup Wednesday afternoon.
Shepherd (6-7) scored goals in the 11th and 44th minutes to dispatch the Hornets (2-9) by one goal for the second consecutive season.

Megan Clark tied the game for Shenandoah with an unassisted tally in the 30th minute. Clark dribbled in from midfield, beat a defender just inside the 18-yard box and blasted a left-footed shot to the near post past Shepherd keeper Amy Bell.
Unfortunately for the Hornets, Shepherd scored the game-winner in the final minute of the first half on a Megan Graf goal.
