WASHINGTON, Pa. - Shenandoah University got a school record 22 saves from senior goalie Wendy Taylor, but it was not enough as Washington & Jefferson took a 6-1 non-league field hockey victory Saturday afternoon.

W&J; (8-3) set a new school record for victories in a season with the win over the Hornets (2-6). The win also evens the all-time series at one game apiece.
