ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - League leading NC Wesleyan kept the Shenandoah University men's soccer team winless on the season with a 7-0 USA South Conference victory over the visiting Hornets Saturday afternoon.

No. 11 in the nation NC Wesleyan (12-0, 4-0) got all of the offense it would need in the third minute when Edgar Zaldivar split the SU (0-8-2, 0-2-1) defense with a pass and Osumanu Otoo finished from right in front.

The Bishops then scored goals in the 17th, 31st and 35th minutes to lead 4-0 at the break. The penultimate goal of the half was especially costly for the Hornets - goalkeeper Brian Garretson was issued an automatic red for a takedown in the box and Lucas Fuentes converted the ensuing PK.

Forced to play a man-down following Garretson's red, Shenandoah gave up tallies in the 49th, 68th and 85th minutes to fall by the 7-0 score.

Garretson had one save before departing while Armand Bozorgmaneshstopped two Bishops shots.

SU is off until traveling to Methodist College on Saturday for a USA South Conference contest.
