WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University fell in both ends of a USA South Conference quad match Saturday afternoon as league powers Greensboro and Averett took 3-1 and 3-0 decisions, respectively.
In the morning's opening match, Greensboro (12-1, 2-0 USA South) took 30-14, 30-16, 26-30, 30-25 victory over Shenandoah (4-4, 1-2 USA South). Averett (11-2, 3-0 USA South) then completed the day with a 30-28, 30-18, 30-20 win over the host Hornets.

Jennifer Thompson each had 15 kills in the Greensboro match with Thompson extending her triple-double streak to six with 19 assists and 11 digs.
Chandler had a double-double with 14 assists while freshmanÂ
