FERRUM, Va. - Ferrum College had two players register at least 15 kills in winning a 3-1 USA South Conference volleyball decision over visiting Shenandoah University Friday night.
Ferrum (8-6, 2-2 USA South) got 28 kills from Mindy Altice and 15 from Jessica Flanagan to down the Hornets (5-5, 1-3) 30-24, 24-30, 30-24, 30-19.
The Lady Panthers hit .218 for the match as Tiffany Walker hit .667 and Altice hit .451 despite taking 12 and 51 total attacks, respectively.
