WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Shenandoah University lifted itself above the .500 mark on the volleyball season with a tri-match sweep of Salem and Sweet Briar colleges Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (8-7) opened the day with a 30-7, 30-7, 30-21 sweep of host Salem before finishing the afternoon by downing Sweet Briar 30-19, 30-18, 30-16.
The Hornets committed just 13 attack errors all afternoon long against 80 kills - juniorÂ
Michelle Chandler led this offensive onslaught with a combined 26 while classmateÂ
Jennifer Thompson added 19. Chandler finished the afternoon with a .595 hitting percentage.Â
Chandler also recorded a pair of triple-doubles with 14 assists and 12 digs against Sweet Briar (2-9) and 17 assists and 10 digs in the Salem (0-12) match.

Jennie Haywood led the defense with 17 digs in each match.
