WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University completed its final USA South Conference volleyball tri-match of the 2007 season with a pair of 3-1 losses Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (8-22, 1-17 USA South) opened the day with a 3-1 (30-22, 30-24, 22-30, 30-22) loss to Meredith before Greensboro won 28-30, 30-10, 30-22, 30-10 in the final match of the day. The two losses mean that the Hornets will be the No. 10 seed at next week's USA South Conference Tournament. SU will travel to No. 2 Greensboro on Tuesday, where they will face seventh-seeded Mary Baldwin in a play-in match.
Meredith (7-24, 4-14) got 19 kills from Morgan White and 11 from Lindsay McEvoy in posting the morning victory.
Michelle Chandler had 16 kills andÂ
Chevon Parker 13 for Shenandoah. Chandler also had 16 kills whileÂ
Jennie Haywood had 20 digs.
Greensboro (21-14, 15-3) dropped the opening game, but came back to oust SU in three straight to lock up the No. 2 seed at next week's tournament. The Pride had three players with 14 kills each in the win.

Jessi Johnson had 13 kills for the hosts with Haywood adding 16 digs.
