GREENSBORO, N.C. - Seventh-seeded Mary Baldwin College eliminated No. 10 Shenandoah University from the 2007 USA South Conference Volleyball Tournament Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory in one of two play-in games.
MBC (8-26) advances to the quarterfinal round, where they will take on No. 2 Greensboro. Shenandoah ends its season with a 10-23 record.
SU gave the Squirrels all they could handle in the opening game, losing 32-30, before Mary Baldwin won games two and three 30-20 and 30-23, respectively.

Jennifer Thompson led the Hornets with a team-high 11 kills and 13 assists while classmateÂ
Michelle Chandler had nine and 15.
JuniorÂ
Jennie Haywood had 14 digs to pace the defensive effort.
Colena Roberts keyed her team's third straight win over Shenandoah with 17 kills.
