ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – Host N.C. Wesleyan sent Shenandoah University down to its fourth straight women's soccer defeat Sunday with a 3-0 USA South Conference victory at Scalf Field.

SU (3-9, 1-4 USA South) battled the Bishops (4-7, 3-2 USA South) even for the first 57 minutes of play despite playing with just 10 players. Unfortunately, the Hornets were unable to hold off their hosts any longer, and Rachel Rosenbarker converted what proved to be the game-winner off of a Mayra Gomez corner.

NCWC added insurance goals in the 61st and 88th minutes to take the three-goal win.

The Bishops outshot Shenandoah 30-6 for the game and took all six of the game's corners.

SU keeper Samantha LoPreto, who missed the second half of Saturday's Methodist game with an injury, returned to make 13 saves.
