FRONT ROYAL, Va. – Shenandoah University snapped its three-match volleyball losing streak with a 3-0 (30-23, 30-15, 30-20) victory over host Christendom.
The victory also gives the Hornets (6-5) a sweep of the season series with local rival Christendom.
Coach Sarah Pelster had all 12 women she traveled with Monday night see action against the Crusaders, and sophomore
Jessi Johnson led the way with eight kills.
Senior
Michelle Chandler had just five kills, but added a team-high 15 assists and had nine digs.
Lindsay Pugh chipped in seven kills and
Chevon Parker six.
Jennie Haywood paced the defensive effort with 13 digs.
