STAUNTON, Va. - Host Mary Baldwin used a strong hitting performance Wednesday night to sweep Shenandoah, 3-0, in USA South Conference volleyball action.
The Squirrels (3-10, 1-3 USA South) had 46 kills on the evening to earn the 30-20, 30-28, 30-24 win. The victory is also the first-ever for Mary Baldwin in conference play. Shenandoah (6-6, 0-4) was hoping to extend its winning streak over MBC to eight matches.
