SALISBURY, Md. - Host Salisbury University posted its second shutout of the 2007 season Sunday afternoon in a 3-0 victory over Shenandoah University on day two of the eighth Annual Elmer Lord Memorial Soccer Classic.

The Sea Gulls (1-0-1) opened the game's scoring on a Nick Malone goal just under 10 minutes into the contest and then got an insurance tally three minutes before halftime.

Just as in its opener Saturday afternoon, Shenandoah (0-2) gave up that second goal on a penalty kick.

Hornets keeper Arman Bozorgmanesh made nine saves, including six in the second half, but Salisbury kept control of the game by taking 22 of the game's 27 shots.

The hosts final goal came nine minutes into the second half.
