HARRISONBURG, Va. - Host Eastern Mennonite University kept Shenandoah University winless in the young men's soccer season with a 3-0 non-league victory Tuesday night at EMU Turf Field.
The Royals (1-2) scored what proved to be the game-winner in the seventh minute before getting an insurance tally eight minutes later.Â
Despite being shut out, SU (0-3) took more shots than its hosts. The Hornets took 22 of the game's 40 shots, and also held an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.
