HARRISONBURG, Va. - Host Eastern Mennonite University kept Shenandoah University winless in the young men's soccer season with a 3-0 non-league victory Tuesday night at EMU Turf Field.

The Royals (1-2) scored what proved to be the game-winner in the seventh minute before getting an insurance tally eight minutes later. 

Despite being shut out, SU (0-3) took more shots than its hosts. The Hornets took 22 of the game's 40 shots, and also held an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.

EMU keepers combined for five saves to post the shutout.

Shenandoah also played two men in the goal, with Brian Garretsonstopping three shots in the second half after taking over for Arman Bozorgmanesh. Bozorgmanesh made two stops in the first 45 minutes of play.
